950PS Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Would Eat The Urus For Breakfast

You think there’s no such thing as too much horsepower and that nearly 1,000 PS (986 hp / 736 kW) in a premium compact SUV is a good idea? Well, then say hello to this heavily modified Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Coupe.

This highly tuned SUV has more power than most of today’s supercars, and would gladly wipe the floor with the larger and more expensive Lamborghini Urus.

As for the video that you’re about to see, it shows this insanely powerful Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Coupe under heavy acceleration on a section of a German highway with no speed limits. Thus, get ready to witness the scenery go by very fast as the vehicle hits speeds in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph).

The car has been tuned by GAD Motors, which has modified its bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to produce 950 PS (937 hp / 699 kW) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque.

The tuner unleashed it at the drag strip too, where it managed to run the quarter-mile in 10.3 seconds, at 219 km/h (136 mph), and the half-mile in 16.2 seconds, at 265 km/h (165 mph).

The new 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is said to be completed in just 2.8 seconds, 0.8 seconds less than the Urus and a full one second faster than the stock GLC 63 S Coupe. The latter’s mill produces 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, and helps it top out at 280 km/h (174 mph) with the optional AMG Driver’s Package, or 250 km/h (155 mph) without it.
