More than 600,000 members and supporters are active in around 2,000 regional groups of the NGO. NABU is always looking for employees, trainees and interns. The children's aid organization was founded in Lausanne in 1960. The German NGO was founded in 1967 to help seriously injured children from the Vietnam War. Around 2,000 employees in more than 30 countries campaign for children's rights and against the exploitation and discrimination of children. For several years now, Terre des hommes has been increasingly involved in the Middle East. The organization's German headquarters are in Osnabrück. Terre des hommes offers internships for students in a loose sequence (without remuneration). The minimum duration is eight weeks. The organization does not arrange foreign assignments.

The World Wide Fund for Nature is committed to nature conservation worldwide. It was founded in Switzerland in 1961 and today employs over 4,000 people in over a hundred countries. The WWF has already financed more than 13,000 conservation projects in over 150 countries worldwide. The NGO mainly relies on lobbying in the public, politics and business. The WWF repeatedly offers jobs in marketing or in commercial project management as well as internships. Jobs abroad are advertised via the WWF network.
