Elementary Reiki Probably the most beautiful mixture of traditional Reiki in connection with pagan traditions Original text: Rebecca Doolin German translation and adaptation: Andrea Baginski Copyright of the original Rebecca Doolin, in the German translation: Andrea Baginski Reiki teacher for Usui Reiki and various other Reiki and Energy systems.

General information Elemental Reiki was created by Rebecca Doolin and uses symbols derived from the goddess, the elements and pagan symbols. The Reiki energy harmonizes with the vibrations of the Goddess, so that one can work in accordance with the Wicca tradition. This unique form of Reiki wonderfully combines the healing energy of Usui Reiki with the Goddess, the elements and pagan symbolism and can be used for both healing purposes and connection with the elements. Working with Elemental Reiki will guide you through the different vibrations of the energy symbols and techniques. It will enrich and improve your life. I'll leave the rest of the word to Rebecca Doolin. This system is one of the ones I used many years before I came to Usui Reiki. It is a compilation of symbols based on the symbolism of the goddess, elemental and pagan symbolism that I used in healing by the laying on of hands. I always gave my own energy. After my initiation into the Master Degree of Usui Reiki, I realized that this system and these symbols were perfectly suited for a Reiki system and I would now like to share it with you. Enjoy it! 3 Chakras Next we want to discuss the chakras. Here you get some practical exercises that you should have worked through before your initiation. Some of you know what chakras are, for others here is some basic information. Chakras are often perceived as spinning wheels of life energy that can be found at certain points on the body. There are many minor chakras that work with the help of the main chakras. This time I only want to address the 7 main chakras. I tell you their names, the position in which they are and the color assigned to them. Too much information at once would only be confusing. I will also add a meditation on the healing and opening of the chakras in which the knowledge of the colors and the location of the individual main chakras is important in order to be able to carry out this meditation successfully. All seven main chakras are distributed in a straight line from top to bottom on our body. The 1st chakra, the root chakra, has its seat at the lower starting point of our spine. It is associated with the color red. The 2nd or sacral chakra is located below the navel and is assigned the color orange. The 3rd or Solar Plexus Chakra sits under the chest at the level of the stomach. The corresponding color is yellow. The 4th, or heart chakra, is green with pink swirls and sits in the center of the chest. The 5th or larynx chakra is blue and is located at the base of the neck. The 6th chakra, called the 3rd eye, is purple in color and sits in the middle of the forehead between the eyebrows. The 7th chakra, the crown chakra, is the only chakra that can be found outside of our body. It is located in the middle just above our head. Its color is gold or white. 3

Try to remember the chakras, their color and their location before you start the following meditation. It is easier to do if you don't have to interrupt it in between to look at your files. Meditation to heal and open the chakras First, find a place where you will not be disturbed for the next 15 minutes. Turn off the phone and the doorbell. If it helps you relax, feel free to listen to light music (without singing). Put down everything that can constrict or disturb you, e.g. B. Glasses, belts, tight clothing, etc. You can sit or lie down. When you lie down, keep in mind that it is easy to fall asleep if you are really relaxed. If this happens, it doesn't matter, your body and mind probably need this rest. Then try again later. Concentrate on your breath for a few minutes. Inhale through your nose, counting to 6, then counting out through your mouth, also counting to 6. Do this 3 times or as long as it is comfortable for you. 4th

Visualize your root chakra on the lower spine. Just to give the beginners an idea of how such a visualization could look like: ... I imagine mine to be like a saucer with liquid paint. Take a few minutes to see what it looks like. What is the color? ... What is the shade / shade of the color? Is the color rather dark or lighter? Imagine how you mix the color yourself ... what happens then? Is something changing there? Try to memorize every detail before moving on to the next chakra. Next comes the sacral chakra. Do the same as for the root chakra. Remember every detail. When you are satisfied with your progress, move on to the next chakra. Go on to the solar plexus, heart and larynx chakra, 3rd eye and finally to the crown chakra. Make sure they are in a straight line with each other. When you are done with the Crown Chakra, visualize a ray of golden light entering there and flowing through your entire body. Remain in this state for as long as you want. When you finish the meditation you will feel refreshed. Chakra Grounding Exercise Take 3 deep breaths and relax. Imagine sliding into the earth while breathing slowly and deeply. Deep in the earth you will find a place where you can come to rest. It is a place with a gem that you like. See how this gem starts to shine more and more, in a color that you like or whatever happens. Now this glow becomes a ray of light that enters your right foot. Become aware of how your foot feels now. Then the steel rises up your right leg. Become aware of your right leg. The ray of light travels up your whole right side. Focus your attention on your right side. How does it feel? Next it wanders through your right hand, arm up, into your right shoulder. Become aware of your entire right side and see how the light makes the entire right side of your body shine. Let the beam of light wander into your left shoulder. If it wanders over your head, you will also see this area glow and you will become aware of it. It continues into your left shoulder, on which you now also apply your entire perception 5

steers. It moves on through your left arm, into your left hand, fingers and the entire left side. As the beam wanders, you become aware of your body. It goes in your left leg to your left foot. Finally, the light beam returns to the earth, back to its source to close the cycle. The light is in constant motion. With every inhalation it moves up your right side and every exhalation it moves down your left side. Feel this energy refresh your body, mind and soul as you breathe and relax. Keep this cycle for a few minutes. Now anchor whatever type you like. Now follow your ray of light back into your root chakra and into your body. This ray of light will always be there, connected to the earth, to serve as a ground wire for you. If you find yourself in a stressful or negative situation or are surrounded by negative people, check your ground wire to see if the connection is still up, in use, or in need of repair. If the connection is broken or faulty, repeat the procedure. With regular use of this meditation, you will be able to do it on the side while you can continue to do your other things. Now you see another ray coming out of the earth, maybe in a different color. It wanders into your body via your root chakra. Imagine your root chakra as a wheel of light that fills with this new energy, begins to shine and begins to rotate. When it starts to work like this, all negative energies, fears and blockages are cleared and the chakra rotates in perfect harmony like a wheel. See how the root chakra opens upwards and the energy flows in the form of a ray up into your 2nd chakra. See how this is also cleaned and begins to spin too. Let the ray move on into each subsequent chakra up to the crown chakra. This also opens. The energy beam shoots out and surrounds your whole body with light, which protects you from all unwanted energies. If you feel that your body is filled with energy, or you think that you have absorbed enough energy, bow, touch the ground with your head and close your crown chakra. The excess energy flows away and is absorbed by the universal life force. Remember that you can visit this place at any time if you want to renew your protection or do a cleaning. This is a very good practice before channeling or when you want to get in touch with your guides. 6th

In elementary Reiki there are 8 symbols: consolation, growth, eternal love, earth, air, fire, water and spirit. We start with the 5 symbols of the elements. Spirit The star surrounded by a circle is otherwise known as a pentacle or pentagram. He represents the unity of the universe with man. He is everything we are, can be and were. It is the never ending cycle of life, from birth to death and rebirth. Use this symbol to heal any spiritual grief. Water Two triangles drawn inside each other, pointing downwards. They represent love, feelings, sensations and balance in times of change. Use this symbol to heal emotional problems or to rebalance a client with nervous problems or fears. Good for depression and lovesickness. Fire The flash of creativity stands for strength, power and energy. Use this symbol when someone needs internal or physical strength to overcome grief or to recover from illness more quickly. 7th

Air Three vertical wavy lines that represent the breath of life. This symbol represents communication, new ideas, bringing a breath of fresh air into life when it is blocked somewhere. Use it to open blocked chakras by blowing the symbol into the corresponding chakra. It is also good for lung problems, promoting communication, all forms of writer's block and depression that is based on boredom. Earth The spiral of the goddess represents the mother, the earth aspect in all of us. Use the symbol to slow down chakras that are spinning too fast or are on the way to opening too far. It also helps with hyperactive children and ADD and HKS. To do this, place the symbol over the 3rd eye in a healing session. I've used it at times when I was extremely nervous or excited to calm myself down. 8th

Now let's talk about the last 3 symbols. I call them the symbols of power or spiritual symbols, since these are the ones that my spirit guide gave to me. Consolation This symbol is only intended for the larynx and heart chakra. Use it to heal emotional ailments of a spiritual nature or for depression and gloom. I use it for persistent blockages and strains on the heart chakra. Growth This symbol is only intended for the lower 3 chakras. Use to boost self-esteem, instill confidence in your abilities, and for anxious people. It is very good for menstrual problems and for pregnant women for a healthy pregnancy. 9

Eternal love This symbol is exclusive for the last two chakras, the 6th and 7th. Use it to bring the unity of all things closer to a person, to open their eyes to the spiritual world, to feel divine love, to help with sensible, spiritual gifts or to bring ecstatic love. Treatments Draw each of the 5 elemental symbols over the client's body. Scan the aura for disturbed areas and determine which chakra is blocked or opened too wide. Use the appropriate elementary symbol for the disturbed area. Now draw each of the 3 spiritual symbols over each of the 7 chakras, starting at the crown chakra down to the root chakra. Then continue with the Usui hand positions. When you get to your feet, sit on the ground and visualize how leftover debris flows from the client's body into his feet, then into your body and out into the ground around you. This is a nice way to relax the client and yourself. 10

Usui hand positions for external treatment The following hand positions are from Usui Reiki. You can use them or whatever you prefer. 11

Self-treatment Draw each of the 5 elementary symbols over your body. Scan your aura for disturbed areas and determine which chakra is blocked or opened too wide. Use the appropriate elementary symbol for the disturbed area. Now draw each of the 3 spiritual symbols over each of the 7 chakras, starting at the crown chakra down to the root chakra. Then move on to the Usui hand positions for self-treatment. When you have reached your feet, sit down on the ground and visualize how leftover debris flows from your body into your feet, and out of it into the ground around you. 12th

The initiation into elementary Reiki 1. The person to be initiated sits in front of you, their hands are in prayer. 2. Clap your hands 3 times 3. Draw the spiritual symbols over the crown chakra, send Reiki and state your intention to initiate the person into elementary Reiki. 4. Stand behind the person to be initiated and draw the 5 elementary symbols, starting with spirit, down your back. Meanwhile, you are asking the universe for spiritual support and guidance in this initiation. 5. Stand in front of the person again. Open the aura by visualizing it as a closed curtain that you open mentally. Draw down the 5 elemental symbols on their front, starting with the spirit symbol. 6. Open the person's hands like a book and draw the comfort symbol three times on each palm. Once in green, once in silver and once in white. Do the same with the symbols growth and then eternal love. 7. Close the person's hands, send Reiki into their hands and say: healing with every touch. 8. Kneel in front of the person and repeat point 6 on the top of the feet. When that is done say, healing with every step. 9. Stand up and visualize the closing of the aura like a curtain and how you seal the symbols in its aura. When you are finished say: By the earth, the air, the fire, the water and the spirit, the initiation is complete. 13th

Remote treatment or remote initiation In elementary Reiki it is not necessary to use a symbol for remote treatment or initiation. The symbolism of clapping your hands three times already represents the past, present and future. So this activity encompasses all times. The only difference with remote initiations and treatments is that you need a surrogate (replacement) to stand in front of you in place of your client. You can use anything you can work with. I use a stuffed animal. So use the surrogate and carry out the entire treatment or initiation as if the person were standing before you in person. The only decision that has to be made and that you have to clarify with the client is how the initiation / treatment should proceed. You have 2 options: 1. Direct initiation. You have to agree with the client the time when both of you are ready to send and receive the treatment / initiation. 2. The opening of the depot. You do the initiation in advance and set a point in time (date, time) when the client can access it.
