Voldemort is arguably one of the most famous villains of our time. Most Harry Potter fans will immediately have an image in front of their eyes when the name of You-Know-Who comes up. Nevertheless, in the eight film adaptations, the Dark Lord was not just one, but a total of seven different actors embodied.

Harry Potter's Voldemort cast: Ralph Fiennes

Ralph Fiennes is probably the first face that comes to mind to a movie buff on Harry Potter's archenemy. The Briton was already a seasoned character actor, and he made it through the 4-fold embodiment of the noseless Dark Lord in the 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th film but certainly a new audience.

He played in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Voldemort in the murderous flashback, in which he kills Harry's parents James and Lily Potter in Godric's Hollow. Hero Fiennes-Tiffin was featured in the 2009 (densely populated by Voldemort incarnations) 6th Harry Potter film as 11 year old Tom Riddle by Albus Dumbledore in the orphanage to reveal his wizard identity and then bring it to Hogwarts.

Ultimately, however, the heavily abbreviated Harry Potter 6 did without its scenes. Since they not even filmed his listing as a Voldemort actor is more of an honorary nomination.
